Drawing courses for children and teenagers

Academy of Fine Arts of Quebec

Drawing courses for children (8 to 12)

We offer a complete training for children aged between 8 and 12. They are usually fast learners when they are rightly motivated. We want to encourage our young artists to realize their ideas, and their passion for fine arts with teaching methods adapted to their learning process. We want to keep their learning fun and efficient so parents can witness their artistic growth.

The theory of the course "Academic drawing" for adults are a part of the course content.

Academy of Fine Arts of Quebec

Drawing courses for teenagers (13 to 16)

We offer a complete training for teenagers aged 13 to 16. The teaching we offer is inspired by the drawing program for adults, while incorporating a more playful component where they are encouraged to develop their imagination by creating personal works. Through different exercises, they will tackle notions of observation drawing, composition, perspective, colours, etc. We want to encourage these young people to realize their passion in a suitable environment and with a pedagogy adapted to their aspirations and needs.
